Mobile Grooming Policies
Appointment Times:
We never give an exact time of arrival. Arrival times are generally a one hour span of time. For example: If we give you an arrival time of between 9 and 10 am, our groomer will arrive some time within that hour window. Every groom is different and we won’t rush any grooming to make an exact appointment time. We also need to allow for unforeseen events such as traffic accidents, road construction, bad weather, etc.
Appointment Cancellations:
All cancellations MUST be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. A $60.00 FEE will be assessed for those cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice. *Cancellations must be called into the office.
Appointment No-Show:
Due to fuel costs and the fact that we operate on a scheduled route, if our groomer arrives during the allotted window of time and no one is home and access arrangements have not been established prior, the client will be charged the ENTIRE AMOUNT of the scheduled service.
Referral Policy:
When you refer a client who schedules an 11-step spa treatment, YOU will RECEIVE a $15 CREDIT toward your next appointment.
Bad Weather:
In the event of bad weather Your Pet Staff LLC may need to reschedule your mobile grooming appointment. This is only done when the weather is severe enough that safety of the groomer and your pets is a concern.
Aggressive Pet:
Once in a blue moon, we encounter a pet that just isn’t willing to be our friend. When that happens, we will stop immediately, rather than risk injury to either the pet or to the groomer. We will not groom aggressive pets that are a danger to the groomer. If the groomer feels that they cannot safely complete a groom, they will stop immediately. In most cases, the full fee will be charged.
De-Matting:
De-matting is a stressful procedure for dogs and is only performed when matting is at a minimum. Severely matted dogs will be recommended for shave down upon client approval.
Alternative Service Recommendations:
The groomer will perform all requested grooming services unless they feel that they or the pet will get hurt or that the pet will get too stressed from the procedure. Occasionally, some procedures such as cutting nails are just too stressful for some of our furry friends and are best left to a veterinarian.
